IS THIS POSSIBLE POLTERGEIST ACTIVITY CAUGHT ON CCTV AT THE JAMAICA INN?

On Sunday 23rd October 2017 at 10.50pm, the CCTV cameras caught the wall phone, which hangs between the Main Bar and Wash Utility Area, that the receiver seemed to lift up and away from its base and fall to the floor, startling April. April has stated that ten minutes before the incident, a colleague had texted her mobile, which was on the worktop, by the Bar phone, to ask if there were any customers left in the Bar. April had confirmed she was alone and, on the footage, you see her look up from cleaning the drip trays, as she thought she had heard the entrance door to the Bar open. Then the phone receiver drops and she gives a nervous laugh, as there have been multiple strange things happen to her and staff, when working in that area, especially when locking up. April then texted Ben the Night Manager, asking him to check the CCTV. Allen Jackson the owner of the Inn, after watching the footage, contacted an Electrician to check the phone and his Property Manager to check if it was possible for the receiver to fall off the base on its own. They came to the conclusion, that the receiver only can be put in one position, which is back on the base correctly, or the receiver will automatically fall down. There is a click mechanism, which keeps the receiver in place. You cannot just rest it lightly; it has to be corrected placed. The footage was then handled to the Jamaica Inn Paranormal Team, to take a look and try to replicate the event ourselves. Despite, numerous attempts to unlodge the receiver, create vibration etc, we couldn’t make the phone do the same as the CCTV footage.
