“As long as justice is postponed we always stand on the verge of these darker nights of social disruption”...so said Martin Luther King Jr. in a speech on March 14, 1968, just three weeks before he was assassinated.

EUGENE LUKJANENKO HUNGER STRIKE DAY 71 + “Protester found guilty after spending 57 hours on top of ex-Cheshire MP’s Tarporley home” + VIDEO – 2 Feb. 2018
from EL’s FB 01 Feb. 2018 = “Eugene Lukjanenko is back on his hunger strike. Today is his 70th day. His trip to the hospital yesterday had something to do with an old ailment. I have been told that he is quite well otherwise. Thank you to all who prayed for him. A pastor was allowed to spend time with him. I know he has been reading his Bible, the Psalms in particular. All of us who have been following Eugene’s situation are relieved to know that he is ok for now. Will justice be done in this life for Eugene and his son? Only God knows.”

A protester stood on a former MP’s roof for around 57 hours to get his son out of foster care, a court heard.
Eugene Lukjanenko, 60, of Kent, staged the protest atop the roof of the home of former Crewe and and Nantwich MP and Children and Families Minister Edward Timpson in May 2017.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to one charge of harassing Mr Timpson at his home, and also denied a further charge that he refused to leave the property after he was given an order to do so by police.
During Lukjanenko’s trial at Chester Magistrates Court, prosecutor Kate Marchuk told the magistrates that the defendant and another man had used ladders to climb onto a flat roof at the front of Mr Timpson’s Tarporley home, while other protesters against “forced adoption” protested in the MPs driveway.
He first ascended to the roof on Saturday, May 6, and did not come down again until the evening of Monday, May 9.

Mr Timpson was called by the prosecution to give evidence, during which he said that he had gone out onto his driveway when he saw a man walking up towards the house, claiming he had come to fix his roof.
A second man, the defendant, also came up the driveway and appeared to be filming the incident on a mobile phone, and Mr Timpson said that throughout the incident he had felt threatened and intimidated.
Mr Timpson said he had tried to alleviate the situation by talking to the men, but the second man had said “I want my son” and other words to that effect.
The court heard that the situation was getting “out of control”. The police were called and the protesters on the driveway were moved to the road, but the men on the roof did not come down.
Eventually, the other man did come down off the roof, but Lukjanenko remained.
However following lengthy negotiations with police over the next two days, during which he was told by police that he would be arrested for his actions, Lukjanenko eventually came down on the evening of May 8, was assessed by paramedics and then arrested.
During his police interview, a summary of which was read to the court, Lukjanenko said that he was unhappy with the fact his son was in foster care and the circumstances surrounding his care.
He said he had staged the protest as he wanted to have a meeting with Mr Timpson, in the hope that he could help within his remit as Minister for Vulnerable Children and Families.
Cheshire Police responded in signifcant numbers to the protest outside the home of Edward Timpson
Mr Timpson told the court that he would not have been able to personally intervene in this case anyway,
Ms Marchuk said to Lukjanenko: “It was not to prevent a crime. It was to take the law into your own hands because you did not like the situation you and your son found yourself in.”
But Lukjanenko disagreed, saying: “I did not go up on the roof for Edward Timpson, I went to save my son.”
The magistrates found the defendant guilty of both charges, with the chair of the bench saying: “The defendant in his own evidence stated that he made the journey from Kent to attend Edward Timpson’s house in the company of others to speak to him. Ladders were taken as a backup plan if Edward Timpson did not want to speak to them.
“We are very clear in this case that the defence of necessity is not made up because there was no immediate threat of serious injury or death, there were numerous ways of dealing with this situation, it took place over a number of hours and travel and planning were put in place for this backup plan.”
Lukjanenko will be sentenced on Friday, October 13 and was bailed until that date.
My aim is to be reunited with my son as soon as possible.Regretfully Medway Children Services do not want to cooperate as yet with me to bring my son back to my care. On the contrary, they decreased contacts with my son up to 4 times a year because I do not acept my son stays in care. Who from loving parents would accept that??It is so difficlut physically and emotionally, , especially after 2 hunger strikes, in Strasburg and UK
Now I am threatened with prison term , there will be committals to prison on the 26 of October at Medway County Court- for naming social workers who are destroying my son and myself.!
I try to take any job – but not enough to survive and find a decent solicitor, even to print leaflets or documents. Please help me as much as you can and find appropriate – any donation will be extremely appreciated! G-D bless!!
Eugene is a loving father trying to do a good job of raising his son and his “reward” is eight months of prison in England. I guess he’s similar to John Bunyan of The Pilgrim’s Progress in that regard.
Both men wound up in English prisons for moral convictions. Mr. Bunyan wouldn’t stop his open air preaching and Mr. Lukjanenko cannot live comfortably after his son was stolen from him by the British S.S. (Social services).
It is an amazing though not uncommon story these days. One of the reasons Eugene’s son was taken from him the second time (yes, there was a first time and his son was returned) is that Eugene’s Father was imprisoned in a concentration camp in WWII.
Bizarre.
The reason he is in prison now is because Eugene continued to try and make his case via social media and the English judge wouldn’t tolerate that any longer.
I guess the judge is trying to quiet this man. As I see it, the judge will fail in this endeavor as I have been watching the well known Russian pianist make his case for months now.
He has been threatened with prison many times because he has done everything legally possible to see his son. And there was that time he climbed on the roof of some “important” building to share his story via his mighty bullhorn. I give him bonus points for creativity, that’s for sure.
I’ve lost track of how many hunger strikes Eugene has been on.
Eugene is aware of the effects social media had on a similar case in Norway. The case got publicity around the world and the family was finally reunited and has fled Norway to be able to raise their children in peace. Social media had a huge impact on spreading that story and Eugene hopes his case will get the same kind of attention. The Norwegian “Child Protective Services” attempted to split up a very nice family, the Bodnarius, completely. Each child was to be sent to live in a different foster home. If you live in Norway (and apparently the U.K.), the threat of having your child taken from you for little reason is something many citizens fear. Parents from Norway have been living under this fear of such inhumanity for years. How do I know this? I know this because they’ve told me.
In case you didn’t know, this problem is a common occurrence in the U.K., Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and the U.S. to name a few. Where I live in the U.S, reunification is usually the goal when a parent is separated from a child by the Child Protective Services. Sadly, this is not always the case in all of America. Americans seem to have better chances of getting their child back if they follow all requests of them, however, than the countries I’ve listed. It is a very sad situation.
I have sent Eugene two emails. My guess is, because so many know of his case now, that he is getting a good amount of mail. I will put a link at the bottom of this post if anyone wants to communicate with Eugene.
The above video, in it’s original form, was part of the reason Eugene’s son was taken a second time. All one can see of Eugene’s son is him playing the piano a bit.
If you wish to know more about this situation, you can click on the link at the top of this page called “Recent Accounts of Children Taken” where I’m following three tragic stories. If you scroll down, you will see that Eugene’s is the second situation I am following. Or, if you have facebook, you can check out Eugene’s FB page. Just type his name in the FB search as it appears in the title above.
To send Eugene an email, this site is the one I’m using and it seems to be working ok for now:
Emails cost 40p and you need to add £5 minimum on the account. Its very easy to set up and all you need is his name and prison number.
If you want to send a note to encourage Eugene Lukjanenko, all you need is:
1) His name 2) His prisoner number which is A6309EC 3) The prison (which is on a scroll down). It is ELMLEY.
If nothing else, please keep Eugene and his son in your prayers.

For those of you who think I have an active imagination or that you aren’t getting the full story here, please read this recent article about the UK which was shared to this post by Professor Marianne H. Skanland:
Eugene’s story is one of the three that I am following in the “Recent Accounts of Children Taken” link at the top of this blog. He is in prison for no good reason. His son has been taken from him for no good reason, and he isn’t even allowed to see his son for no good reason.
It is becoming a long story but it is a compelling one. This video covers a good deal of material quite quickly. If you get any sense of what is happening here, you will be appalled. This was taped 20 days ago when Eugene was 20 days into his hunger strike.
I have sent him several emails through the English prison “service.” I wonder if he is even getting them as I have paid to have an answer sent back and received none.
